flashing over black.
The world gently bends around
the silent water, my energy
draining down to the darkness.
fractals crossing land, pouring
softly to the sea.

Icy floating star –
cirrus screaming across the
We searched all day to
find a Christmas tree. Our first
day spent together.
There are fleeting moments when
the whirlwind stops, and silence pours back
in, just me, the cat, the tree.
Points of light pierce through,
I find myself again in
memories of you.
Silent word painting,
a few colourful brushstrokes,
then minds touch and smile.
