Something good for 2023.
I’m very excited to be able to announce that I’ve been working on my first book, and it will be available on Apple Books from New Year’s day, 2023.
I wanted to create something positive for 2023, so I have been working toward a 1st January release.
That did mean that as each month of 2022 went by, it seemed harder and harder to achieve, but I loved the process, and just spent more and more time just pushing to get there.
To be honest, I’m no fan of deadlines, but I have to grudgingly admit that in this case, while I stayed open to setting a new target, and though I was determined not to publish until I was satisfied the book was ready, the desire to make the book available as early as possible in 2023 did help me keep pushing to get over the finish line.
The book is a multi-modal work with poetry and photography working together.
I hope readers enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it.
